The Serenity Happy Hour Group has a new open discussion meeting on Friday evenings at 8:00 pm.

The Wewa Serenity Group has a new location, they now meet at the Honeyville Community Center , which is located on Hwy.71, just south of Wewa in Honeyville.

The Beach Unity Group's, Wednesday 12 pm meeting, has been cancelled and no longer meets.

New Meetings / New Group

The 12 @ 12 Group has added a 7:00 pm, closed discussion meeting, on Sunday evenings.

There is a new group called the Lunch Bunch and they meet Monday through Sunday at 12 noon and also at 10:00 am on Saturday for Step Study.

The Fountain of Hope Group has changed the starting time for the Monday and Friday meetings from 6:30 pm to 7:00pm.

Sunrise Serenity has changed the Tuesday, 7:45 am meeting from open discussion to Big Book study. What a great way to start the day!

New Meeting

We now have a meeting held at the Panama City Mission on Thursdays at 7 pm. The meeting takes place in the cafeteria, which is located right in front of the reception desk. Come and share your experience, strength and hope!

The Sunrise Serenity Group has moved! Due to the popularity of the meeting, ample parking has become a problem, so starting Friday, June 1, 2007, we have a new meeting location: Trinity Lutheran Church, corner of 11th and Balboa. All meeting times remain the same.

New Meetings

Wewahitchka and Fountain! AA meetings are once again being held in Wewahitchka and Fountain and like most new, small town AA meetings, out of town visitors can help make the meetings flourish.

Wewahitchka has open discussion meetings on Mondays at 7 pm at the Community Center.

The Fountain of Hope group has open discussion meetings on Mondays at 6:30 pm at the Fountain Community Center and open discussion meetings on Fridays at 6:30 pm at the Baptist Church.

New Name

The AA meeting at the First Church of the Nazarene has picked a name for their meeting--from now on they will be the Keep it Simple meeting. They meet M-F at 12 noon for closed discussion meetings.

Sunrise Serenity is adding three new meetings! Starting December 21, 2006 they will have 5:30 pm closed discussion meetings on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. See you there!

YANA Club has brought back their Women's open discussion meeting, it meets on Thursdays at 7:00 pm.

Surfside Serenity in Mexico Beach has added Steps and Traditions to their Sunday, 5 pm meeting.

Sunrise Serenity meetings have all been changed to Open Discussion so feel free to bring a friend. See you there!

Serenity Happy Hour has made a few format changes and has also moved the Saturday morning meeting from 9am to 10am. The changes are:

Tuesday	First Tuesday of the month is Open Speaker
Wednesday	5:30pm is now a Big Book Closed Discussion
Saturday	9:00am has been moved to 10am and is now Step and Traditions Open Discussion

New E-Mail List

Stay informed of what's happening in our local AA community. We've put together an e-mail list to get time sensitive information out as quickly as possible. If you would like to join the list we will be able to let you know when important events affect our local AA community; this way if one of our members should become seriously ill or pass away, everyone interested could be made aware of it.

Join the list by going to the Contact Us page, enter your e-mail address and click 'Join List'. Please e-mail our DCM with information you wish to disseminate through this list.

Meeting Change

The Saturday 10:00 pm meeting at the YANA club has been cancelled and will no longer meet at that time. Beginning April 16th the meeting will be held on Sundays at 2:00 pm . See you there!

New AA Meeting

We have a new, noontime AA meeting held at the First Church of the Nazarene, 3610 W. 17th St, Panama City. It meets Monday thru Saturday at 12:00 pm and is a closed discussion meeting. The group will choose a name for the meeting in the near future.

New Alateen Meeting

There is now an Alateen meeting that meets on Saturday mornings at 10:30 am. The meeting is held at St. Johns Catholic Church, 1008 Fowler Ave., Panama City in the Youth Building ( located on the corner, across from the convenience store.)

New Name

The 7:45 am group has a new name: Sunrise Serenity . They have also changed the meeting on the last Saturday of each month to an Open Speaker meeting. Sunrise Serenity meets Monday thru Saturday, at 7:45 am, at Serenity Junction on Jenks Ave. Come check us out!

January 2006 Meeting Schedule Changes

The listing of the Women's Meeting at the Beach YANA club on Fridays at 7 pm was a printing error, the meeting is actually held on Thursdays at 7 pm.

Central Group's Tuesday evening meeting is an Open Speaker meeting not an Open Discussion.

YANA Club

The YANA Club took a group conscience vote and have made all meetings Non-Smoking. If you haven't been to a meeting there for a while because of the smoke well then now's the time to check out their new smoke free club house!
