Our Area 1 Delegate, Craig M. will be giving his report at the Amvets Building, 910 Valastics Ave, Valparaiso, Fl 32580, on Sunday, June 2, 2013. Breakfast will be served at 9:30 am and will cost $6 if you wish to partake; the report starts around 11:00 am.

Founder's Day Florida Style

The Tallahassee Fellowship invites you to attend their 9th annual Founders’ Day Florida Style celebration happening Friday June 21st through Sunday June 23rd.

The convention will be held at the Henry W. McMillan National Guard Armory located in the beautiful Florida capital of Tallahassee.

Hotel accommodations are recommended at the La Quinta Inn South just a short (2.6 miles) driving distance away.  Let them know that you're in town for the Founders Day Florida Style convention and receive a special rate of $67.50 per night.

55th Alabama/Northwest Florida Area Convention

Well it may seem like a long way off but we know how fast time flies and there is a lot of work to do. The convention will be held at the Paradise Palms Seaside Inn, 12907 Front Beach Road, Panama City Beach, Fl 32407 on October 25 - 27, 2013. There'll be a lot of committees that need volunteers and we'll also need help setting up, tidying about, etc. 

Some background info:  AA is divided into 93 areas in the United States and Canada. We're in  Area 1 which is comprised of Alabama and Northwest Florida. The areas are further broken down into districts  with Bay County and Port St. Joe making up District 15. Anyway, the Area 1 Assembly asked for a  volunteer to host the 2013 convention and we stood up...which made everyone happy because we love going to the beach!
